This is an apologetic book, which focus its debate on the existence of God, first from the origin of everything according to the Old Testament views of the Bible, Science, and Philosophy, and then, from the revelation contained in the New Testament. The creation of the world is seen from the perspective of evolution. In addition to answering few objections against the existence of God, it also addresses other themes related to Christianity such as the soul, miracles, original sin, and the end of the world, while giving special attention to the Resurrection of Jesus.

This book discusses the fundamental truths of Christianity, being the existence of God its main focus. Of course, this is a truth much contested by atheism, and for this reason, a section of the book has been specially allocated for its discussion.
The existence of God is seen first from the angle of reason, as a need to explain the origin of the universe, which is approached through the eyes of the Bible, Philosophy, and Science. Can reason bypass God? Few arguments within this context are also discussed.
Secondly, the existence of God is seen in the light of the revelation of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, and in the latter, Jesus presents himself as the Son of God, and as such, its most important revealer, who shows all his power through his Resurrection.
Thirdly, the Church comes into focus, as the guardian and main spreader of these truths. Topics such as the original sin, the end of the world, miracles, and the Bible as a book of revelation are discussed here.
When appropriate, the approach is based on the theory of evolution and the evolution of species since evolution is coherent with the existing reality and does not impose any obstacles towards religion.

Holds a master’s degree in computer science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro – 1972. Holds a PhD in systems and computer engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro – RJ – 1980. He is a retired professor of the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina – SC. Currently, he lives in Florianópolis – SC.
